THE PRODUCT, IN PRACTICE

Estimate the total weight.
Keep the uncertainty attached.

Some probabilistic models need a normalization calculation across many possible states, not only the best state. certcount estimates the log partition function for supported Ising models and provides the associated interval information. It gives researchers a different numerical output from optimization: an estimate used to assess the model’s aggregate statistical behavior.

BUILT FOR
Statistical-physics, probabilistic-modeling and counting researchers.
CHALLENGES → PRODUCT RESPONSE

The problem you face.
What certcount changes.

01

One best state does not describe the whole model

An optimizer’s candidate does not supply the normalization required by a probabilistic calculation.

certcount targets the model’s log partition function rather than returning only a high-quality configuration.

02

Full enumeration is not the intended execution path

Listing every state becomes unsuitable as the evaluation workload grows.

The tool supplies a supported estimation path that can be checked against exact enumeration on tractable reference cases.

03

An estimate without an interval is hard to assess

The normalization result must be interpreted with its uncertainty and model assumptions.

certcount returns the reported interval alongside the estimate, keeping its statistical nature visible.

WHAT YOU GET

A defined capability.
A useful output.

The product scope below describes the capability and outputs to confirm for your release. Custom integration, operated delivery and additional engineering are separately agreed.

01

Log-partition estimation

A normalization-related estimate for the supported Ising model.

02

An uncertainty interval

The interval information accompanying the returned estimate.

03

Reference qualification

Exact-enumeration comparisons on tractable supported instances.

04

A distinct upgrade path

The newer certnum: log-Z track adds a separately qualified two-sided-bound capability.

AVAILABLE NOW

One product.
Three ways to work.

certcount is fully available with CLI, MCP and headless access. Use the interface that fits your terminal, your agents or your automated workflow.

01 / CLI

For your terminal.

Run the product from a terminal or script, alongside the tools your team already uses.

Get CLI access
02 / MCP

For your agents.

Connect MCP-compatible clients and agents to the product’s exposed capabilities.

Get MCP access
03 / HEADLESS

For your workflows.

Operate without a graphical interface in unattended, scheduled or pipeline-driven work.

Set up headless access

Product-specific inputs, hardware requirements and result guarantees still apply. An access mode does not change your license or deployment scope.

EXAMPLE CUSTOMER WORKFLOW

Evaluate normalization on a supported model family

A researcher wants a scalable estimation workflow with small reference cases that can still be enumerated.

Illustrative use of the supported scope, not a customer case study or a measured result.
  1. 01

Provide the model and numerical estimation requirements.

  2. 02

Obtain the estimate and reported interval.

  3. 03

Compare the reference cases before extending the evaluation to larger instances.

IN YOUR WORKFLOW

What you bring
The supported Ising model, numerical settings, interval requirements and available reference cases.
What a useful evaluation measures
  • Agreement with exact enumeration where available
  • Interpretation of the reported uncertainty
  • Runtime and memory at the selected model size
Where it fits
Use the selected product in a qualified customer environment, or agree a defined implementation with SpinForge. A hosted or managed service is quoted for its actual operating responsibilities; it is not automatically included with software access.
QUESTIONS BEFORE YOU BUY

A clear scope.
No hidden assumptions.

How can we use certcount?

CLI, MCP and headless access are all available. Run from a terminal or script, connect an MCP-compatible client, or use the product without a graphical interface. Choose the mode during onboarding and receive its setup instructions. Runtime requirements and supported operations remain product-specific.

What is the important product boundary?

This is not exact counting for arbitrary discrete models. The supplied summary does not establish universal confidence coverage. certnum: log-Z and certnum: Exact counting are separate tracks with different output requirements.

What comes with the selected license?

The agreed certcount release, its supported interfaces and outputs, the applicable checks and the support stated in your order. The plan defines users, workflow, environment and capacity. Source-code transfer, unrestricted redistribution and bespoke engineering are not automatically included.

Can SpinForge implement or operate it for us?

Request a scoped engineering or operated-service proposal. It identifies what our team delivers, where the workload runs, infrastructure costs, acceptance requirements and ongoing support. Your software subscription alone does not activate a hosted runtime.

What evidence is available for review?

P49 / Company-reported. The reported estimates matched exact enumeration on the evaluated instances. The newer log-Z track has a separate two-sided-bound scope; neither is the general exact-counting module.

These descriptions come from the supplied product and campaign material. Website checks are not an independent rerun of the engine. Qualification identifies the actual release, workload and available artifacts.

Checked Decisions
with certcount.

Activate this capability inside a qualified checked decisions workflow. Compatible methods and required shared checking are included once within that workflow; the product remains independently purchasable.

Capacity, release, environment, result contract and operating responsibilities are specified before activation. Choosing an additional method is not permission to add an unrelated workload or unqualified deployment.
